If you select something to enhance your vehicle, negotiate the price. Add-ons like air conditioning and power windows will not carry the same warranties as factory installed items.

The business office:The finance manager is a highly skilled closer. He uses insurance sales and interest rates to enhance the profit on each deal.

Tell the business manager that you have been preapproved for a loan at your bank, but that you would be willing to finance with one of his sources, if he can save you money on the interest rate.

Extended warranties on new cars are only useful if you plan on keeping the new car for more than four years.
